Aldo Londi was the artistic director of Bitossi from 1946 to 1996. The Mondrian pattern is one of his iconic designs which he used on clocks, boxes and lamps.  Raymor was a gallery owner in Manhattan active 1941 to 1980. the gallery imported artistic decorative items from Italy and Scandinavia. These Londi ceramics lamps were mounted with the same quality teak wood. Teak to be seen on most mid century designer furniture from Scandinavia.
